About Brooklyn Allen:
Introducing the visionary force behind Fire in Motion Dance Company: Owner and Artistic Director, Brooklyn Allen. Her boundless passion for dance and extensive global training have cultivated a journey of excellence that resonates through our studio.
Miss Brooklyn's dance odyssey commenced at Dance ConXion, where she honed her skills across a spectrum of dance styles while also crafting original choreography. Yet, her story transcended geographical boundaries. At the age of 13, she took her first steps towards creating her own dance legacy by launching a dance program within her community. This grassroots initiative has evolved annually, growing into the thriving studio we are today.
In 2016, Miss Brooklyn's journey reached a pivotal juncture when she was bestowed a scholarship to partake in the prestigious Barcelona Dance Tour. It was here that she was captivated by the interplay of culture and movement, a fusion that continues to be the heartbeat of her artistic expression.
Following the commencement of her high school journey, Miss Brooklyn's path took another momentous turn. In 2017, she embarked on the BFA Dance Program at Ryerson University, immersing herself in a realm of learning that would shape her artistry. Furthering her pursuit of knowledge and skill, she transferred to the University of Calgary in 2019, culminating in her graduation with honors in June 2022.
Miss Brooklyn's commitment to dance education radiates through her journey. Armed with comprehensive training in pedagogy and safe dance practices, she has woven principles of health, safety, inclusivity, and a profound appreciation for the arts into the very fabric of her lesson planning.
With a Fine Arts Degree majoring in Dance and a diploma in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Miss Brooklyn stands poised to deliver nothing short of excellence. Her dedicated teaching ethos, fueled by her commitment to dance, business acumen, and artistic brilliance, promises an unparalleled learning experience.
